Legacy Survey
Thanks to funding support from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund, KUMD has been able to produce great local programs like Radio Gallery and Live From Studio A, present local concerts, and connect you with local arts events. Now the state needs your feedback on these programs. Please take a brief survey to help us keep this critical funding. You won't have to provide any personal information. Just click here to take the survey. Thank you for supporting Duluth Public Radio!

Black History Month Programming
Black History Month on KUMD

Beginning this Friday, KUMD will mark Black History Month with weekly profiles of some of the great African-American musicians we've lost in the past year.  Listen at 10:32am and 2:32pm every Friday in February as we honor Etta James, Gil Scott Heron, Sylvia Robinson, and Pinetop Perkins.

On Monday February 6 and 20 at 7pm, we will air, "Then I'll be Free." Join us as we discuss Northern Slavery from the First Dutch Colonists to the New York Riots of 1863. Following this will be a local panel discussion hitting topics of today's issues and living in the Northland.
