| Northland Morning Host Receives Award |
 Congratulations to KUMD's Northland Morning host Lisa Johnson, who was recently awarded the 2009 Environmental Stewardship Award for Media, presented by the St. Louis River Alliance. The award was presented for significant contributions in educating the public on local, regional, and national environmental issues through Northland Morning segments including The Environment Report and our recently-expanded local program Green Visions.
