As Alexandra Reynolds puts it, it's "usually not a happy matter" that brings people into a courtroom.

But if you can't afford an attorney and you're in a dispute with your landlord, battling over child custody or trying to resolve a credit issue, having to take on the system by yourself is daunting.

Enter Minnesota's Volunteer Attorney Program ... and the Ask An Attorney events they hold on the third Monday of every month at Community Action Duluth.
