Join us as we talk with Jeredt Runions, a very influential artist and live painter located in Duluth, Minnesota. He will be painting at the "Respect You Mother Earth Festival" on May first. Runions also has a show going up at Red Mug Coffee House in Superior on Firday, May 7th, during the Homegrown Festival.
Hosted by Maija Morton
Whenever there is a big event for Duluth musicians, Runions seems to be a part of it. He has been an extremely influencial local painter for a few years now, and has done live painting for musicians such as Cloud Cult, Charlie Parr, Trampled by Turtles, and many more. Runions has had many solo exhibitions, and he helped raise money at Pizza Luce's fundraiser for Haiti by live painting and donating some of his work. He currently has work on display at UW Superior's library, and will be painting at the Bella Vida Festival in May. Runions talks with Radio Gallery about his part in the Duluth art scene and how he got started.
Radio Gallery airs Wednesdays at 4pm and Thursdays at 7:45am and is brought to you by:
