The 59th Arrowhead Regional Biennial as a free exhibition, on display December, 10, 2012 through February 10, 2013. Artists all over the mid-west are featured in this event, including several from the North Shore. Messerschmidt produces his work out of Ely, Minnesota. His work is a process of layering opacities, in part by using vinyl stickers. All of Messerschmidt's works are almost identically symmetrical. He will even be contributing a piece to the Walker Art Center this winter. Messerschmidt speaks with Radio Gallery about his Eastern influenced contribution to the eclectic exhibit.
