Women's Words on May 10, 2015, featured Julie Gard of Duluth reading three poems, "Northwestern Ontario," "Aubade," and "Zipline."

Women's Words on May 3, 2015, featured Felicia Schneiderhan reading the epilogue to her memoir Newlyweds Afloat: Married Bliss and Mechanical Breakdowns Onboard a Trawler, to be published in the fall of 2015 by Breakaway Books.

Women's Words on April 26, 2015 featured Dianna Hunter of Duluth reading from her story, "The Dead Cow and the Great Man" which received an award for creative nonfiction by Lake Superior Writers in 2014.

Women's Words on April 19, 2015 features Kirsten Dierking reading two poems, "Lilacs" and "Nuthatch" from her poetry collection ,Tether, released by Spout Press in June of 2013.

  Women's Words on April 12, 2015 featured Stephanie Pearson of Duluth reading an excerpt of her article "Sweden by the Sea," published recently in National Geographic Traveler.

Women's Words on April 5, 2015 featured Kirsten Dierking reading two poems, "Wilderness" and "Kayak" from her poetry collection , Tether, released by Spout Press in June of 2013.

  Women's Words on March 29, 2015 featured Amy Waugh of Duluth reading an excerpt from her book Remnants of the Disappeared, titled "Somewhere in Colorado."

Women's Words on March 22nd, 2015 featured Jocelyn Pihlaja of Duluth reading her essay "Tending Mary Jane." 

Women's Words on March 8, 2015 featured Duluthian Dianna Hunter reading "Horses and Other Embodied Spirits," an excerpt from a memoir in progress.

  Women's Words on March 1, 2015 featured Christie Gove-Berg of Forest Lake, Minnesota reading her children's story, Esther the Eaglet: A True Story of Rescue and Rehabilitation.

Women's Words on February 22, 2015 featured Margi Preus of Duluth reading a second excerpt from her new book Enchantment Lake.

Margi Preus is the author of the Newbery Honor winner Heart of a Samurai and Shadow on the Mountain. Preus has traveled the globe to research her novels and, along the way, has made friends in Japan, Norway, and many other places. She lives in Duluth, Minnesota.
