Welcome to our April Featured Artist - In February Sara held her release concert for her newest CD, Everything Changes. This is Sara's fourth solo CD since her debut recording in 1995 with Arise! A singer-songwriter with a deep and soulful voice, Sara's music comes from the heart. Her performance style is easy going, incorporating humor and passion with equal ease. Growing up in a family that loved to sing her first vocal solo was non-other than Billy Joel's For The Longest Time. Thomsen says of the title track, Todo Cambia Spanish for "everything changes", "To me this song is hope distilled. It has carried me through the upheaval of difficult personal change and on a scial political level it gives me comfort and courage in the face of dismal and disheartening world affairs.
