Roxanne DeLille and Valerie Shangreaux discuss their work with The Community Leadership Programs at The Blandin Foundation, building leadership skills in rural and reservation communities throughout the state.

Their work strives to strengthen skills already innate in community members, utilizing positive assets to overcome the negative.

Valerie Shangreaux is the Director of Leadership Programs at the Blandin Foundation.  Roxanne DeLille is one of the trainers for the Leadership Programs at the Blandin Foundation; she is also the Dean of Indigenous and Academic Affairs at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College.

Ojibwe Stories: Gaganoonididaa is produced by KUMD, with funding provided in part by the Minnesota Indian Affairs Council, and by The Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
