Buyer beware: all that says it's "Superior" isn't

Feb 26, 2019

In this part of the world, a business calling itself "Superior (fill in the blank)" doesn't raise any red flags.

Between the lake and the city to our east, most things around here have "Superior" in the name.

But if you run across "Superior Auto Sales" of Fargo, ND on Craiglist in your search for a vehicle, steer clear.

Not only has the Better Business Bureau of Minnesota and North Dakota declared them a scam, they've got some good tips to make sure you're not taken for thousands of dollars trying to buy a car from a scam artist.

The Better Business Bureau has a spot on their website where you can research companies you're thinking of doing business with, and a lot of other consumer protection information is there, too.
