Buffy is a 15 yr old Pekingese who is being fostered here in Duluth through PNC Midwest Rescue whose owner got sick and could no longer care for her. Buffy herself had a stroke and needs a little extra care.
She is sweet, interested, and healthy otherwise, but cannot use her back legs easily and has trouble standing or walking. So gets carried outside for potty breaks. She is potty trained and friendly to the dogs and cats in her foster home. If there is an adopter out there, her perfect match would be a retiree who is home with her all day and can devote special time to her needs. She is quiet and funny and well behaved. Doesn't need a lot of looking after except for her ambulatory issues. Besides issues from the stroke, she seems very healthy. She should probably have a dental done once the vets are open again.
Gerald is a brown tabby Domestic Longhair who is 7 years old. He came to Animal Allies as a stray from St. Louis County and is now looking for his new loving home! Don't let his grumpy face fool you, this man is full of love! He enjoys watching the world from his perch and receiving chin scratches from his favorite human. Gerald is FIV positive, so he is looking for a home with no other cats unless they are also FIV positive!
All animals will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated by the time of adoption. If you are interested in adoption or more information, please visit Animal Allies at animalallies.net .
