This Sunday, an experiment in art opens in the Free Range Barn in Wrenshall, Minnesota. Successful Duluth artists Cecilia Ramon and Kathy McTavish stretch their creativity in the experimental lab that is, the Free Range Trials. McTaish is a coder, composer and multi media artist, while Ramon is a visual artist, meditation practitioner and UMD art teacher. This is an exciting pairing as these women are cutting new paths in media, mixed media and mindfulness in art.
The public is invited to a reception at the barn on Sunday, August 26, to experience their new work in an exciting new setting. This week, Roman joins us on Radio Gallery to talk about her recent work and give us a preview of the show.
The Free Range Barn is located at 909 County Road 4 in Wrenshall. The Free Range Trials exhibition is open daily through Monday, September 3, from 2-5 p.m.
