When it's time to take a break from the screens, grab a notebook or pad and head outside to soak up some sunshine and noodle around a bit with a nature journal.  Here are a couple of different approaches; this one from John Muir Laws, the founder and host of the Nature Journal Club. It's geared to teachers and parents acting "in loco magistra."
