Annie Dugan's not the first teacher who's thrown out the syllabus as classes moved online.

But when she assigned her students this "mega master list" website* and asked them to find "art that quiets the mind," she didn't know how much she was going to need their results.

Incidentally, Annie writes:

*I recommend going down the rabbit hole with a prompt in mind. One of my favorite artists ever is Agnes Martin and one of my favorite quotes of hers is "art that quiets the mind" so that was my prompt as students looked through these links. It was interesting to see the range of what people thought helped them focus and tune out the world.

And if you're up for another dauting list of links, check out the virtual Downtown Duluth Arts Walk from last Friday!
