Virtual opportunities to enjoy art abound again this week with a couple of in-person chances as well.

Duluth's Nordic Center is kicking off Women's History Month (and International Women's Day today) with an exhibition called Nordic Crowns & Beyond: In Praise of Women.

There is a virtual gallery and several other events associated with this exhibit; more information is here.

No matter where you're physically located, you can enjoy the North House Folk School's Winter Virtual Film Fest from your couch, and maybe with a bowl of popcorn.

The film offerings change every week and you can find more information online here.

Robert Adams has a new exhibit up at the Duluth Coffee Company.  You might recall his Play Me piece from a Duluth Art Institute show a while back.

And speaking of art, food and beverage, Sue Rauschenfels opens an exhibit this Wednesday (June 12) at Pizza Luce'.

Radio Gallery: Beads

A deeply Minnesotan exhibit called Beads opens this week at The Nordic Center in Duluth.  Beads brings together beadwork pieces from northern peoples, "specifically the Norwegian Hardanger tradition and the Anishinaabe traditional and contemporary beadwork here in Minnesota,” according to the Nordic Center.
